To create a Big Cartel store, we just need a few things:
Email address
This is the email we'll use to send you notifications about your new shop and where we deliver messages sent through your contact form. Double-check to make sure you've entered it correctly.
Password
Create a strong password for your shop, something unique and hard to guess (so… not “password” or “1234”). Forgot your password? No worries! We can send a password reset to the email address we have on file.
Shop name
Choose the name you'd like to give your shop: a business name, project name, your name, your iguana's name, anything your heart desires.
Shop URL
This is the web address you'd like for your shop, and we automatically suggest one based on your shop name. This is what you share with your audience so they can buy your stuff, so you may wanna make it fairly brief and easy to remember.
After signing up, you can change this later on the Preferences page using the Shop domain field, or choose to use a custom domain instead.
Steps
- Head to bigcartel.com/pricing.
- Choose the right plan for you.
- Fill in your email, password, shop name, and shop URL.
- Read and accept our Merchant User Agreement.
- Click Sign up (or complete billing info for a paid plan).
