Recap: Indie Fest 2015

In July, the whole Big Cartel Crew gathered for our annual Indie Fest in Ojai, California. Once an artist community, Ojai still doesn't allow large chain stores within its city limits, and this independent spirit made it the perfect location for our yearly retreat.

While we made plenty of time for fun, relaxation, and getting to know each other a little better, Indie Fest was a perfect time for some distraction-free planning. The company is spread out across the US, so time spent all together in the same place is priceless. We kicked off projects, talked about what new tools shop owners need, and took time to share our processes and goals across different teams. As always, we've come away from the week together brimming with ideas and plans for the future of Big Cartel and the artists who believe in what we do.
