During 2014’s SXSW Festival, 19 bands from 4 indie labels gathered in Austin, Texas for a 2-stage, 8-hour showcase called Liberation. Big Cartel sent filmmaker Tyler Coray to document it all. It’s not easy for one man to film multiple stages, but we almost feel like we’re there.
Part 2 gives you a glimpse into the sold-out Liberation showcase featuring bands from indie labels: Gold Robot, Father/Daughter, Small Plates, and Inflated Records.
Part 3 features an interview with Niilo and Dylan of Dim Peaks. The two talk about touring as a duo, their experience at SXSW this year, and more.
This final part of the video series features Hunter of Gold Robot Records and Jessi of Father Daughter Records. These passionate record labels, along with Inflated and Small Plates made the massive Liberation showcase possible.
